SPECIAL EVENT - Halloween (2013 viewing)

Looking at films and television...


In 2013 a group of friends and I continued our a tradition of celebrating Halloween by watching three films from the top Slasher film franchises (see 2011 & 2012), this time in two separate locations, with the third films from the HalloweenFriday the 13th and A Nightmare on Elm Street series.  None of these have been tested against the Slasher rules yet.

SPECIAL EVENT - Halloween (2012 viewing)

Looking at films and television...



In 2012 a group of friends and I continued in our a tradition of celebrating Halloween by watching three films from the top Slasher film franchises, after watching the first 3 films of these series a year earlier. we moved onto the second films from the HalloweenFriday the 13th and A Nightmare on Elm Street series.  Of these three only Friday the 13th Part 2 has been tested against the Slasher rules.

In 2011 a group of friends and I started a tradition of celebrating Halloween by watching three films from the top Slasher film franchises, beginning with the first films from the Halloween, Friday the 13th and A Nightmare on Elm Street series.  All three of these films have since been tested against the Slasher Film Rules on my Film Rules blog.

A History of Violence is the story of Tom Stall, a small-town soda shop owner who becomes a local hero when he stops a violent attack by two men on his shop and repercussions.  Loosely based on the graphic novel by John Wagner & Vince Locke.
